The Anime iwai charity auction was founded in hopes to aid the people who make up our community. It will be held over the course of the weekend. Its open to everyone to participate. All but the 3 most valuable items will be auctioned off via a silent auction. The other 3 items will be auctioned off at closing ceremonies live.
For the silent portion, you will be asked to register with the program table. You will be provided a registration form, a bid ID [ex: Iwai (and a number)], and a sticker for the back of your badge to verify your identity. Before you go place your bid, you will check in with program table. For each item in the auction there will be a sheet where you will write your bid ID and your bid amount. Bid amounts are in whole dollars only and must be 1 dollar higher than the previous bid. Auction forms are collected once a sheet has been filled.
At 3pm on Sunday afternoon, all silent auctions end. Winners will be contacted to provide payment and their collect their items. Payments accepted will be cash and card, but please have exact change or be willing to donate the rest of the change to “To Write Love On Her Arms”. To collect your item, you or a per-determined on file represented must be present to pay and collect.
For the live auction, if you wish to take part, you must be present at closing ceremonies. The auctioneer will call on each person accordingly with price raise increments. After your item has been won, you will be asked to pay and collect at the end of closing ceremonies.

To Write Love On Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
If you need help you can Find Help here, which allows people to search for mental health resources at a free or reduced cost in their area, by inputting a keyword and entering their zip code.
They also have a Treatment and Recovery Scholarship which is their way to help those who are looking to take that step into recovery and treatment, whether that be seeing a counselor or attending a support group. This fund represents their collective belief that people deserve help no matter what, and finances should never be a barrier to healing.
