Meet our Musical Guest 8Bit Wave!

We're thrilled to welcome 8 Bit Wave as a performing musical guest group at Anime Iwai!

8 Bit Wave brings Gamers and Anime fans alike an entirely new, exciting multimedia experience presenting years of timeless songs from classic games and shows to the modern era! All of the songs heard are personal arrangements from the minds of band members themselves.

Fans will enjoy memorable, beloved melodies from popular games such as Mario, the Legend of Zelda, Sonic, Pokemon, Final Fantasy and more! Fans will also relive their favorite moments with music from Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Cowboy Bebop just to name a few!

All of the music plays as you engage in synced videos of Gameplay or Anime scenes shown on a projector. The concerts are performed by the 8 member ensemble consisting of different Woodwinds, EWI, French Horn, Electric & Acoustic Guitar, Upright & Electric Bass, Keyboard, and Drums.

Their concert is on Sunday afternoon! Also they will be playing accompaniment music during our Meads and Melodies event Saturday!

First time appearing at Anime Iwai, we welcome The Miami Pixel Symphony!
Miami Pixel Symphony is dedicated to celebrating and elevating the rich tapestry of music from video games and anime. Their mission is to inspire audiences of all ages to explore and appreciate this vibrant and emotionally resonant genre through high-quality live performances, and community engagement. They are playing at Anime Iwai: Zodiac on Sunday morning November 17th, 2024.

Meet This Year's Burlesque troop: The Bombshells Cosplay

 The Bombshells Cosplay is a community performance group dedicated to lifting up others and helping them harness their inner confidence. They travel to conventions all over the South East leading "Confidence Workshops" where they teach adults that ANYONE can be a Bombshell! Their hope is to create a welcoming environment for all and spread as much positive thinking as they can in their travels!

They started humbly as 11 girls and won their first cosplay competition at Tampa Bay Comic Con 2017. Since then, they have traversed several local and larger Florida events including the 2022 Orlando Fringe Festival where they debuted their show ‘Madame Bombshell’ at the Stardust Lounge. They also started off Fringe ArtSpace’s inaugural season with their workshop series “Becoming a Bombshell”. This series resulted in a Cabaret show with eight brand new performers who put their acts together in just three weeks!

The Bombshells Cosplay takes pride in not only their handmade costumes but also their message of strong femininity, queerness, and body positivity. Their members are from incredibly diverse backgrounds with talents ranging from dance technique, makeup artistry, singing, costume design, burlesque, aerial performance, body painting, modeling, photography, and much more. Their events reflect these unique talents and their message of feminine empowerment in the community. Their goal is to share this message with the Central Florida community and teach the Shes/Theys/Gays to embrace themselves for who they are and let their inner creativity shine with confidence.They have two fantastic shows for you at Anime Iwai Zodiac!
